I would have liked to have done one at a time but I only had a few hours to change servo and fluid so I did them both.Įverything about Dexron VI is far superior to Dexron III. I cant say for sure if it is either the fluid or the servo that had the biggest improvement or a combination of both. All others I looked at was synthetic blend.Įnd result is it woke this transmission right up and shifts are instantaneously, holds gears much better going up hills it use to kinda hunt between 3rd and OD. At the same time I also flushed all the fluid out and upgraded to Valvoline Synthetic Dexron VI, as far as I know Valvoline is the only 100% synthetic Dex VI, I could be wrong like I said as far as I know. I upgraded to a Vette servo in my wifes 2000 Bravada because the shifts was so soft it was hard to tell what gear you was in.
